This sports event includes two events: men's tug of war competition (team event) and women's skipping rope competition (individual event). Before the event began, Huang Yazhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of the company, delivered a speech introducing the purpose, significance, and requirements of this event to everyone; The vice chairman of the trade union, Zhang Ming, introduced the rules of the event and held a lottery ceremony on site. There are a total of 5 teams participating in the tug of war competition, which is conducted through a elimination system; Two out of three games per game, the winner advances to the next round. With the referee's whistle, the game began. Both athletes tightly grasped the rope with both hands, followed the command, pulled out the river with force, and refused to yield to each other; The cheerleaders on both sides are also cheering for their own teams. On this field, each representative team has shown a strong sense of cohesion, demonstrating the spirit that unity is strength, striving hard, and always striving for first place. After intense competition, the representative team of the Manufacturing and Installation Union won three consecutive games and finally won the championship, while the representative team of the Furnace Lining Union won the runner up. During the competition, a friendly tug of war match for women was added temporarily, showcasing the unparalleled charm of women. In the women's skipping rope competition, Xiang Yingling won the championship with a record of 180 jumps per minute, while Wu Chunjing and Meng Qingyan finished second and third respectively. After the event, a brief award ceremony was held on site. After announcing the competition results, Chairman Huang Yazhou presented prizes to the winners and took a group photo as a souvenir. This event is also the first one held by the new trade union committee since its establishment. The chairpersons of grassroots trade unions attach great importance to it and personally participate, and the event has achieved complete success.
