    On May 13, the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions commended the advanced collective exemplary individual of the provincial labor competition for key projects of the housing and urban construction system. Our Qilu Project Department was awarded the "Pioneer Worker" in Shandong Province, which was the first time that the Company's Project Department was awarded the honorary title at the provincial and ministerial level.
    In 2021, the company undertook the 1 million tons/year carbon dioxide recovery and utilization project of Qilu Petrochemical. This project is China's first million ton CCUS project and one of the three key engineering projects of Qilu Petrochemical in 2021. It is of great significance to national energy security and the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals. It is such a project that not only makes the project team feel extremely honored, but also deeply burdened. Especially on October 21, 2021, General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected the Qilu Petrochemical Shengli Oilfield CCUS project located in Shengli Oilfield in Dongying, which greatly inspired the builders. Under the instruction of the General Secretary, in order to complete and put into operation the project as soon as possible, the owner has reduced the construction period by half. Therefore, the project department has taken active measures to catch up with the construction progress. They actively participated in the CCUS key project labor competition organized by the property owners, working overtime every night and doing necessary work all night, day and night, fully leveraging the role of workers as pioneers and effectively promoting the construction progress.
    With the support and cooperation of the owner, general contractor, and supervisor, the project department overcame many difficulties and completed the construction task in just 96 days from the start of civil engineering to the intermediate handover, creating the "Qilu Speed" and further establishing itself in the Qilu Petrochemical market, becoming a landmark project for the company in the Qilu Petrochemical region and even the Shandong market.
