On the afternoon of November 4th, Da Jianwen, Vice Chairman of the Zibo Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led the special research group on the opening-up of the 13th Party Congress of the city to conduct research and guidance work at our company. Leaders such as Li Xiuqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Zhao Hongxia, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Hu Bing, member of the Party Group and Level 4 Researcher of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and Huang Lixin, Section Chief of the Fifth Secretariat of the Municipal Government Office, participated in the research. Dong Hongguang, Chairman of the Linzi District CPPCC, Jia Jiyuan, Deputy District Mayor of Linzi District, relevant responsible comrades from the District Government Office, relevant responsible comrades from the District Bureau of Commerce, and relevant responsible comrades from Xindian Street accompanied the research. Xu Ming, Chairman of our company, Chen Yanzhe, Secretary of the Party Committee, Shi Daliang, Vice General Manager, Cai Dequan, Assistant General Manager, and Zhang Dong, Assistant General Manager and Executive Vice General Manager of Middle East Co., Ltd., participated in the research activities.
Chairman Xu Ming firstly extended a warm welcome to the research team on behalf of the company and introduced the basic situation of the company, especially the expansion of its overseas business. Mr. Xu said that since the company's restructuring, it has actively responded to the national "going global" and "Belt and Road" strategies, actively expanding overseas markets. Relying on China Petrochemical, China National Petroleum Corporation, China National Chemical Engineering Group, etc., the company has successively undertaken construction tasks in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, and Kuwait, with a total construction output value of 550 million US dollars, making positive contributions to the development of local economies. Zhang Dong, the Assistant to the General Manager and Executive Deputy General Manager of Middle East Co., Ltd., gave a detailed presentation on the status of the company's overseas projects through slides to the research team. He also elaborated on the various difficulties encountered during project execution, especially since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and provided detailed answers to the questions raised by the research team. The research team expressed appreciation for the company's achievements in overseas markets in recent years, inquired in detail about the various needs of the enterprise, and promised that as a local government, they would continue to support and assist the enterprise as always, providing all possible convenient conditions to help the enterprise achieve high-quality development.
