＂Be on guard against 'fireworks' and win the battle against typhoons and floods＂

Recently, Typhoon "Yanhua", the sixth typhoon of 2021, approached Zhejiang with a fierce momentum. After receiving the typhoon prevention instructions on the 22nd, the company and its Ningbo branch attached great importance to it and conscientiously implemented the requirements of the superior typhoon prevention work. Based on the preliminary inspection, arrangement, and implementation, a pre-battle meeting was organized. Every means and measure was taken, all forces were mobilized, and all efforts were made to fully engage in the comprehensive typhoon prevention work. According to the unified requirements of the local government and Zhenhai Refining and Chemical's emergency response for wind and flood prevention, the branch took multiple measures to minimize disaster losses while fully ensuring the safety of lives and property. A typhoon resistance leading group and an emergency response team were organized, with project department leaders on duty 24 hours a day; all fences, protective sheds, skirting boards, billboards, etc. were removed, and all power sources except for emergency use were cut off; temporary facilities, steel structures, color steel tiles, etc. were reinforced; emergency supplies such as submersible pumps, excavators, vehicles, sandbags, and lighting equipment were stockpiled; precautions were taken in advance for the heavy precipitation brought by the typhoon and the possible waterlogged areas, with drainage facilities in place, retaining walls arranged, drainage channels dug, and sewers dredged.
Around 12:30 on July 25th, Typhoon "Yinhua" officially made landfall in Zhejiang and gradually moved northwestward. Strong winds and torrential rain accompanied by 12-level gales swept through the construction site. Various typhoon prevention measures played a good role, and no major property losses were caused. After the typhoon warning was lifted at 10 am on the 26th, the branch company carried out drainage, restoration of construction, and confirmation of safety conditions before resuming work level by level.
