On July 12, 2021, the reactor (R-5102) for the wax oil hydrofining to medium-pressure hydrocracking unit, which was constructed by our company for Sinopec Luoyang Company Limited, was successfully lifted into place, marking the successful completion of the heavy lifting phase of the project.
This reactor is a key equipment of the device and also the heaviest single equipment, weighing 437 tons. It was primarily lifted by an 800-ton crawler crane and was guided during lifting by a 400-ton crawler crane. Before the lifting operation, the project department attached great importance to it and made scientific division of labor based on the on-site situation. Detailed arrangements were made from the tracking of reactor factory transportation to the confirmation of large crane mobilization and the safety and quality control of equipment lifting. Under the guidance of lifting experts, a practical lifting plan was formulated and repeatedly demonstrated, and detailed technical disclosure was provided to the operators. High-standard foundation treatment was carried out for the position and driving route of the station car, and strict ground bearing capacity tests were passed, laying a solid foundation for the successful completion of the lifting task. After the reactor is hoisted into place, the project department will spare no effort to carry out the finishing work of the reactor area's frame structure and piping, striving to complete all remaining tasks in the shortest possible time, thus creating favorable conditions for the high-standard intermediate handover of the unit at the end of August.
