The company successfully passed the external audit of the HSSE system in 2021

From May 6th to 8th, a team of experts from Qingdao Sinochem Sunshine Management System Certification Center conducted a three-day external audit of our company's HSSE system.
Based on GB/T24001-2016/ISO14001:2015, GB/T45001-2020/ISO45001:2018, China Petrochemical's HSE and HSSE management system standards, applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements, as well as relevant documents established by our company, the expert team conducted a comprehensive and detailed review of the continuous compliance and operational effectiveness of our headquarters' HSSE system, as well as the continuous relevance and suitability of the certification scope. According to the information collected on-site, our company is able to comply with relevant and applicable standard requirements, laws, regulations, and other requirements, as well as the system documents established by the company for implementation and operation, with no serious violations of laws and regulations occurring. For evaluation and risk environmental factors, relevant objectives, indicators, and management methods have been established, and relevant control measures have been planned. The control of various risks and environmental factors is relatively good. After review, the expert panel concluded that the company's senior management places great emphasis on the HSSE system. They have appointed both full-time and part-time safety and environmental protection managers, special operation personnel, and special equipment operators, all of whom have undergone training and hold valid certificates. Regarding HSSE funding, the company invested 4.748 million yuan in 2020, ensuring the system's full operation. The company has a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and regulations and proactively identifies and updates them in a timely manner. It also conducts compliance evaluations as required. In terms of major risk and factor control, the identification is basically complete, the definition is reasonable, and corresponding control measures are planned. The company can promptly increase the recruitment of new employees and accelerate the training of a strong construction team, thereby reducing the risks brought by subcontracting teams. All the above measures reflect the company's emphasis on the operation of the HSSE system. Additionally, all the qualification certificates provided by the company are valid, and during the previous review cycle, there were no major environmental and safety accidents, no penalties from local governments or other levels in terms of safety and environmental protection, and no complaints related to safety and environmental protection. During the review process, no serious non-conformities or major complaints from relevant parties were found, and management performance showed an upward trend. Overall, the company's HSSE system operates effectively, and HSSE work is under control. Before that, the audit team also conducted on-site inspections at the Luoyang Petrochemical Project Department, which was undertaken by our company. At the final review meeting, General Manager Xu Ming stated that the company would seriously address the issues raised by the review team and make timely rectifications. At the same time, he expressed gratitude to the experts who provided valuable feedback during the review process. The company will take this review as an opportunity to comprehensively and deeply implement the HSSE management system, continuously improve work methods, strengthen the implementation of various measures, and promote the continuous improvement of the company's overall HSSE management level, maintaining the company's healthy and sustainable development.
