The SMEC Amines Project Pipe Fabrication starts

With the success of the first welding joint, the SMEC Amines Project starts. It declares that the SMEC’s flag has appeared at the Persian Gulf again. Amines project is newly executed by SMEC from the client Saudi kayan after the completion of King Fahd Industrial Port Project package 6 and 7. The Amines project plays an important role for the market exploitation in Saudi Arabia. It is the last project of Saudi kayan and the only one which should report the progress to the Saudi Arabia Petroleum Ministry. At the same time, the Saudi Arabia Petroleum Ministry sends helicopter to take picture of the Amines project for information. It is great significant for the SK Whether the Amines project could hand over on time. In this way, the client SK and EPC contractor CTCI pay great attention to the project management strength. The SK and CTCI strictly select the qualified subcontractor employees and manage the construction site. All the QA/QC supervisors should pass the examination before joining the Amines project team. Our King Fahd Industrial Port Project QA manager Mr. Yuan xiaoxun has successfully passed the piping inspector examination. The equipment engineer Mr. Tang liangzhu get the steel structure and equipment inspector without examination because of the abundant construction experience in Saudi Arabia and China, which offers the precondition for the project execution.
