The 500000 tons/year polypropylene project in Saudi Arabia has a large scale and an annual production capacity of 500000 tons/year, which is the largest in the world; The installation height is high, and the height of the extrusion granulation frame is 92 meters; There are many large units with high installation accuracy. There are a total of 6 sets of units, including two sets of extruders and a recycling compressor, which are delivered as loose parts; The device layout is dense, with multiple cross operations and high difficulty in HSE management. 80% of the installation work is concentrated in the reaction and extrusion granulation areas. During peak installation periods, HVAC, civil engineering, electrical instruments, steel structures, equipment, insulation, and factory walls are all concentrated together, making on-site coordination difficult; There are many design changes, and only 350 tons of on-site prefabricated steel structures have been added to the extrusion granulation area. Main physical quantities of the project: 4130 tons of steel structure, 637 tons of dynamic equipment, 1512 tons of static equipment, and 124000 inches of process pipelines. The construction period is from January 2007 to September 2008.
