  Sinopec Jiujiang Branch I catalytic cracking unit: This unit has been in operation for 30 years since its commissioning. Despite several major renovations, the efficiency of the rotary separation system has been severely reduced due to aging of the two devices. There are defects such as catalyst loss and reduced activity, poor absorption and stable separation effect, unqualified hydrogen sulfide after desulfurization of dry gas and liquefied gas, serious amine liquid in the acid gas separation tank at the top of the solvent regeneration tower, and safety hazards in operation. Therefore, it must be renovated. The main renovation contents include: the catalytic core part of the reaction and regeneration system is newly built in a different location, the replacement of the distillation tower and some cold exchange equipment and trays, and the replacement of the distillation tower frame. This renovation project has the characteristics of short construction period, difficulty in construction, large amount of demolition and installation work, narrow site, difficult transportation, multiple large-scale lifting operations and vertical crossing operations, simultaneous construction and production, and high difficulty in HSE management.
  1.2 million tons/year continuous reforming and 250000 tons/year benzene extraction combined unit: The project is located in Jiujiang Branch, about 10km east of Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, adjacent to the Yangtze River to the north, with an existing factory area of about 4.2km2. The unit adopts domestic ultra-low pressure continuous reforming complete process technology and domestic reforming catalyst PS-VI, using mixed naphtha as raw material to produce high octane gasoline blending components, meeting the hydrogen balance of the whole plant and also taking into account the future production needs of aromatic hydrocarbons. It forms a joint unit with a newly built 250000 tons/year benzene extraction unit, which starts and stops simultaneously.
  This unit mainly consists of four parts: naphtha hydrogenation, reforming and re contacting, catalyst continuous regeneration, and utilities. The produced depentanized reforming gasoline is used as the raw material for the benzene extraction unit, and the reforming hydrogen gas is supplied to the hydrogen gas pipeline network of the entire plant. The prefabrication site on the construction site is narrow, and the main prefabrication work is carried out in the prefabrication yard outside the factory, with a large amount of secondary transportation of materials and semi-finished products. Large equipment has a large tonnage, high height, scattered layout, and the arrival time of the equipment is not concentrated. The on-site lifting and welding time varies, making the construction organization difficult. The height of the reaction frame is high, and there are many devices installed on it. The arrival time of the equipment, especially the reforming reactor, has a significant impact on the installation of the frame; The installation process of reactor internals is complex, and the construction period is relatively long (about 2 months). At the same time, there are many alloy steel pipes in the reaction zone, and the process is complex, which directly affects the delivery time of the device. There are many heating furnaces and a large amount of work, especially when they are constructed simultaneously with chimneys, which results in many overlapping processes. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the depth of prefabrication and arrange the cross sequence between various specialties and processes reasonably. There are many specifications and materials for pipeline construction, especially alloy pipelines, with a large number of fittings and high requirements for prefabrication and installation quality, making construction difficult.
  The construction of the 1.2 million tons/year continuous reforming and 250000 tons/year benzene extraction combined unit started on January 10, 2011, and the project was completed and handed over on December 15, 2011. The total construction period is 11 months.
