  The 1.2 million tons/year delayed coking unit consists of a coking section, a fractionation section, an absorption and stabilization section, a blowing and emptying section, a hydraulic coke removal section, a coke cutting water closed-loop circulation section, and a cold coke water closed-loop treatment section.
  The device follows the principle of "smooth process and compact layout", and the pumps are arranged in an open-air manner according to the principle of relatively centralized equipment layout. The west side is reserved land for the second phase of the plant, the south side is the sulfur plant, and the north side is the tank area. The total area of the device is 180 × 110=19800 square meters.
  The coking raw materials come from the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit and catalytic unit of the plant. After intermediate heat exchange, they undergo heat exchange with the hot oil and hot oil gas from the coking tower, and the heavy fractions above the wax oil in the tower hot oil and hot oil gas are collected together to form coking oil (359 ℃). First, they are sent to the convection chamber of the coking furnace and then heated to the required temperature for the process (500 ℃) in the radiation chamber. Then, they enter the bottom of the coking tower through a four-way valve.
  The newly built delayed coking unit adopts advanced, mature and reliable process technology and equipment from both domestic and foreign sources, achieving new and higher levels of environmental protection, long-term operation, improved product yield, automation level and energy consumption. The 1.2 million tons/year delayed coking unit is equipped with one coking furnace (equipment number F-101), with an operating heat load of 45.025MW and a design heat load of 50MW. The furnace body consists of two radiation chambers, two convection chambers, and one chimney. The radiation furnace tube adopts a single row tube double-sided radiation horizontal tube arrangement structure, and the medium enters the coking furnace from the upper part of the convection section in four tube passes. After heating in the convection section, it enters the radiation section and is discharged from the lower part of the radiation chamber.
  The products of the coking section of the device include dry gas, liquefied petroleum gas, gasoline, diesel, wax oil, and petroleum coke.
