The Qilu 720000 tons/year polyvinyl chloride renovation project is designed by Qilu Petrochemical Engineering Company. The process packages and basic designs for polymerization, slurry stripping, and resin drying units are directly imported from abroad. The main equipment includes: desalination water preparation unit, chemical preparation unit, polymerization unit, VCM recovery unit, stripping unit, drying unit, freezing unit, internal pipe gallery, and product storage and packaging unit. Our company is responsible for all construction projects, equipment, process pipelines, electrical, instrumentation, and other installation projects within the boundary area, except for office building expansion and fire protection layer. This device adopts the suspension polymerization patent technology of Western Chemical Company in the United States, using vinyl chloride as the raw material and desalinated water as the county floating medium. Under the action of dispersants and initiators, polyvinyl chloride slurry is polymerized to generate polyvinyl chloride slurry. After removing unreacted VCM by slurry stripping, PVC finished resin is obtained by centrifugal dehydration and boiling drying. The construction period is from April 2003 to July 2004.
